Anne was relieved to know that Mary and her mother were safe. She wanted to remind Henry that at one time he had been very interested in Mary and had told her quite a few stories which had helped her learn how to please him without actually giving in to his sexual demands but what would be the point? He would simply deny it and call her a witch and she'd had quite enough of that for one morning.
"She is our daughter," Anne said mildly. "I don't recall you actually giving birth to her so that means she has two parents but yes we do need to come to some agreement. She is presently living with me and I would like that to continue. I also would like to point out that she is very headstrong which she gets from both of us and you are not her most favorite person at the moment. There is quite a bit of history that occurs after my death that has shaped her opinions about you so don't expect her to be overjoyed to see you."
