WHO: Elizabeth Donovan and Nora Gainesborough WHAT: Lizzy won a rather bizarre guessing game, so Nora told her to stop by for a "prize" WHERE: Nora's house WHEN: Monday RATING: We'll see STATUS: In progress
Thoughts buzzed around her head like irritating flies as Lizzy turned off the television. It had been running as white noise in the background, some nature show she had been partially paying attention to about creatures that existed on the very bottom of the ocean that looked either really awesome or as if they'd crept out of someone's alcohol-fueled nightmares. As fascinating as she found such things, she had better things to do now than sit and finish the program.
Like visit an actual vampire.
Sure, Nora had said an awful lot of mean things in the beginning, but Lizzy was certain that she couldn't be all bad. Perhaps living for such a long time simply made one a little bit cranky once in a while and Lizzy would just have to find things that made Nora smile. That was all. Determined to make a new friend, Lizzy didn't dawdle too much as she fetched her purse and slipped on a pair of sneakers to complete her outfit - a sunny yellow eyelet tank top and blue jeans, with bangle bracelets and a few necklaces and her favorite pair of hoop earrings. Nothing fancy, nothing she had to put too much effort into; just the way she liked it.
Double-checking the address and her directions, she whistled and occasionally sang as she headed over to Nora's house, her eyes widening as she caught sight of it. It appeared to be much larger and fancier than where she lived, and she looked around rather curiously before stepping up to the door and ringing the doorbell.
Not once did she question whether or not visiting was safe.
