Shizuka hadn't done much exploring yet, so going to the park sounded rather nice to her. Back home, she'd visited the park often and found it very relaxing, nestling herself up against the fountain to watch the passersby or seeking out a quieter area to do some studying. Once or twice she'd been caught in sudden rainstorms, but they had been more exciting than irritating. A quick glance at the sky showed that they most likely would not have to worry about inclement weather.
"The park sounds perfect. And I'm fine with carrying this. I wouldn't want you to drop the wine bottle." Nothing was overly heavy, and he said they wouldn't be going far anyway. Following his lead, Shizuka started walking, pleased that it wasn't too hot out. Biting her lower lip, she tried to shove away her shyness and seek out a topic for small talk, but her natural awkwardness around boys kept rearing its ugly head.
Ugh. Stupid.
She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, nervously tucking her hair behind her ear. "Do you like it here?"
