Alex studied his movements and the way he carried himself. It seemed to her that he was highly trained, and that pretty much went along with what he'd told her. And if this worked out, she wouldn't have been against making it a thing, a couple of times a week or something. That seemed like something she could do. And it was something other than cleaning, but technically it would still be working out.
Eliot was pretty new here, and Alex thought he could benefit from making some friends. He seemed kind of guarded though, not the kind of guy who trusted easily or could make friends with anyone. Alex could respect that, it was a lot like her. She'd taken awhile to really come out of her shell here. When she'd first arrived, she was still stricken by grief at the loss of Sean, and the pain had been all she could focus on. There wasn't much to do here, there was no mission. There was just living. And she was going to do her best to try and do just that.
"Someone's eager." She teased, with a slight hint of a smirk. She was looking forward to it as well. She doubted it would be much different than sparring with Michael or Owen. That was always quite a workout if nothing else. And Eliot didn't look like he was planning on taking it easy on her, just because she was a girl. She appreciated that. This could be really good for both of them. And if nothing else, it was a good way to kill an afternoon.
Alex warmed up a bit by doing some stretches. She'd already stretched in the morning before her run, but stretching was a really good idea before any activity like that. Of course in a real fight, she wouldn't have had the time. But this was just for sport, so she figured that it was alright, even though she could tell Eliot was excited to just get to it.
