If it had been Caroline getting married and not Tess, Bonnie was pretty sure the blond would have been all over the dress Tess curently had her fingers brushing over. It was frilly, with a rather large train and the little ringlets that made up the skirt part of it looked rather silky. Bonnie definitely thought it was over the top, but then again, when had the witch ever thought about getting married recently? Before she found out about being a witch, Bonnie believed a lot of things were possible for her friends and her, but their lives were difficult now and, well, Bonnie was dead back home anyway. She'd never have a wedding or children. She wouldn't grow old with her best friends. She wouldn't-No! None of it mattered because Bonnie didn't think they were ever going home. If they did, she'd accept the consequences like always, deep down, selfishly, the witch hoped she never had to go back and die.
"I think Caroline would like it for her wedding," Bonnie commented quietly. "But you don't look like the type that likes really over the top things." Honestly, Tess reminded Bonnie of herself except without the whole getting married thing. She came off like she'd rather have plain, but pretty. However, Bonnie knew she could be wrong. Despite her witchy sixth sense about people, she'd been known to have bad judgment...on ocassion, but this was one time wehre the consequences might be pretty light; a scolding at most or a weird look. It wouldn't be death or risking her friends' lives for once. It was a pleasent change for the witch. "But I could be wrong," she offered with a small smile. "I'm not really good with fashion. Caroline's pretty good. I usually just get dragged along for support."
Bonnie shot her best friend a playful grin; she didn't mind their shopping trips one bit. Any time she had to spend with Caroline, the brunette would gladly take adn never regret. In their very abnormal, crazy lives, shopping for a prom dress or just clothes with the blond vampire was a break from it all. It was nice to be normal or appear as such for a little while. Bonnie had accepted her heritage, even embraced it, a long time ago, but that didn't mean she didn't want to be secretly like any other normal, human girl. She longed to be light-hearted and free with the world not weighing on her shoulders, but that could never be. Not even here. Her friends would always be in trouble or danger and Bonnie would always be there to protect them, no matter the cost to herself and now, with a glance around at the other women, she knew that list had grown a lot since arriving from Mystic Falls.
