When Alex came in, Grace had been quick to rush across the room and meet her in the hug. Tess had followed suit as soon as the charming eleven year old released their friend, sighing happily. "No, we've only been here for a few minutes," She admitted. Grace tumbled backwards, giggling with her excitement, and Tess caught her with practiced ease, wrapping her arms around her. There were some expensive looking things in this store, and Tess dreaded the possibility of her stepdaughter ruining any of them, even if only because she was so excited about the wedding and the hunt for the dress.
When Veronica walked him, she released Grace so she could go hug her best friend. Life was really good, now, with Veronica and her Dad both here. She couldn't stop smiling as she pulled back to look at the petite blonde. "Oh I know, after all, I'm the one who's going to be in it." She teased. She wasn't really that arrogant but she liked to kid around. She hung close to Veronica and Grace close to Alex until Bonnie and Caroline walked in, and Tess took a breath. "Let's get this show on the road."
The consultant that Tess had the appointment with met them and took them into the salon further. There was a couch there and a few mirrors around. She talked to Tess about what kind of dress she would have liked and then gave them all a moment to look at the dresses on the floor while she went to go hunt down a few specific ones. Tess wandered over to a really big, frilly dress. She ran her hands along some of the material on the skirt. "So I don't know, should I just try on a whole bunch of different kinds?"
