It was true he could not take as many shocks as her invincible pals, but compared to a normal human, he'd taken more than could be expected. He was a normal human, really, but he'd gotten grizzled over his long existence. He had a feeling his body simply didn't work the same after being alive so long. Neverland had preserved him, in some strange and unseen (and decidedly enchanted) way, and it had changed him in the process. He clearly was capable of injury, but they bothered him less than they should. His sleep patterns had certainly suffered, and he still had trouble with that. Even after his sojourn in the Enchanted Forest for almost thirty years, he hadn't managed to return himself to normal.
Maybe he wasn't capable of normal anymore.
So far her shocks hadn't stopped his heart, and thusly he couldn't force himself to mind. There had been an especially strong one once that left him dazed for a couple minutes, but he'd gotten a chance to get her back once his brain had returned to proper function. What was a little pain? He'd had a lot worse. It was better than numbness.
He kissed her rather leisurely, as if they had all the time in the world. Mostly because she tended to get frustrated when he moved too slow, and he liked to make her a little annoyed sometimes. She was more fun when she was trying to get him back for something. He was actually pleased that she'd proactively sought him out. Not many people made the choice to be in his presence if they could avoid it, especially not people that had seen into the darker sides of his personality.
Just as the kiss was about to get a touch more intense, he pulled away. "Need a drink, beautiful? I've been a right terrible host, haven't I? Maybe we should have dinner." He was teasing her, alcohol was the farthest thing from his mind. But she could take what she wanted, he liked to play with her a little.
