elle bishop doesn't want to just be damaged (ellectric) wrote in lincolnriver, |
Elle didn't spend much time in her house, she didn't see the point when she could be out there experiencing the world, small as it might be here. She'd spent a large portion of her life being locked up from the world, because of the danger she posed to it. The danger she posed because of the experiments her father had done on her, when she was just a small child. The human brain was not built to take that much electricity. It made her unstable and essentially broke any chance she had of being a normal girl.
Ever since Elle had come here, she'd been trying to experience everything she'd never gotten a chance to before. Sure, there had been that brief period of time where she'd been afraid of what she might do here. She was messed up beyond repair, especially after coming back from the dead. That was a very traumatic experience. But she was doing much better now. She hadn't made a whole lot of friends since she'd been here, not ones she could talk to about stuff, at least. She had a lot of social issues. She seemed to be just fine when it came to what men wanted, though. And she certainly didn't mind. She was given a second chance here, and she wasn't going to let any of it go to waste.
And that sentiment was precisely what had brought her into the Captain's house tonight. She wanted some fun and excitement in her life. And he didn't seem to mind being shocked or anything, so that was a plus. He couldn't take as much electricity as Peter or Sylar, but she wasn't going to hold that against him. He was extraordinary, but he didn't seem to have an ability to just heal like Sylar did. Sylar stole that ability though, and so many others. She didn't want to think about Sylar anymore, but it was hard not to sometimes.
"Hey." She grinned when he noticed her. It was tempting to shock him with this ball of electricity, but she didn't think it'd be a good idea. Little to medium shocks were okay, but this was a pretty big one and might have been a bit too much to take. Elle had only been playing with it because she was bored, so she extinguished it. She wanted to give the Captain her full attention, especially when he kissed her neck like that.
"I thought you'd never get back home." She smirked, clearly she'd come here for something, and she'd been waiting mostly patiently for quite awhile now. She could smell a bit of alcohol in him, but he didn't see to be wasted. That was very good.
