"Sorry, mate. Maybe you should have kept those buy-ins lower." The game had not been about the money for Hook but as always, he liked high stakes. Everything else was boring. He hadn't even kept the winnings, though neither party present was aware of that and he had no intentions of telling them.
"I'm not quite sure what strippers are, but I think I'd fancy knowing," The pirate bemused, even though both parties seemed to be joking. He could really guess what a stripper was, anyway, he was a pirate after all. He also had a sense of humor hidden in there somewhere. Or maybe it was the scotch talking. Just maybe.
Hook looked rather bemused at Danny's comment about his wife to be. He liked Tesla, she was a spunky sort, but he didn't know much about Danny. Jones was surprisingly impressed by the man's veracious way of protecting his daughter. More fathers ought to be like that. But still, he didn't need to end up on the wrong end of the man's temper... Though, looking at him, the pirate could take him. "Bachelor party? Is that something worth celebrating these days?" Wasn't Danny engaged, in what way was he a bachelor? Clearly, this was a modern thing.
