"You're right about. Guess I have him to thank for the fact I'm still alive." Alex said. Him, and Nikita of course. If Nikita hadn't intervened that night, she would have died in that fire like the rest of the world thought she had for years. "He wasn't a good man, he did some terrible things...but I loved him." He was her Papa, and she missed him, even if he'd died eight years ago now. It still felt fresh for her. She usually wasn't comfortable with talking so much about her past, but she didn't seem to mind at the moment.
"You know, I don't know...I haven't given it much thought. I just knew I didn't want to inherit Zetrov." She said honestly, leaning against the counter. "For years I had to hide who I was, and I was addicted to heroin, strung out living on the streets...and then Nikita found me again. Then my life became about revenge for what happened to my family." She'd never really considered doing anything else, and even after Sergei was dead, she was still helping Nikita. It was all about the mission. "But I'm going to go to school in the fall, so hopefully I can figure out something then." It was strange for Alexandra Udinov not to be a cover identity anymore. There was no mission here, just living. Or trying to.
