"It would be my pleasure to show you around," Thomas replied. He smiled as she rambled, and nodded in all the right places. He remembered too well how he had worried about her, while she was with Lara, before he'd been able to bring her home with him. He'd lived with Harry then, in a small apartment, which had seemed smaller every day that he'd stayed until he finally got out on his own.
As the coffee pot finished brewing, Thomas got up from his chair to fill both their mugs. He added a bit of cream and sugar to his, and carefully sipped it to test the taste. Satisfied with it, he carried both mugs to the table.
"I know where the main shopping area is, the library, places like that." He hadn't had much need for such places, when it was just him. With Justine here, he needed to pay more attention to details. And, he supposed if he was going to be staying in town, he might as well try to find a salon that ws hiring, and take a job. Then he wouldn't have to worry about eating, but...Justine first. Justine was priority.
