So far, today was shaping up to be a good day for everyone in Scarlet Oak, not just Gavin. The barrier was down, Brodie's psychic abilities were back to normal - and Gavin assumed that if Brodie was fine, then other psychics had to be fine too - and everyone was reuniting with their families. To top it off, the weather was great and he didn't feel like a wreck anymore, mostly healed up from his first full moon. Finally knowing what he was, it was a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. He shifted into a tiger - a white bengal tiger, to be exact. He still didn't recognize the tiger he'd seen the mirror, but he knew it was him. The rest would come in time.
Though he had plans to hang out with Brodie at Ozzy's later, Gavin had the day free to do whatever he pleased. Once everything calmed down a bit in Scarlet Oak, business at Kaleidoscope would even back out again too, and he'd get right back to his workaholic ways. For now, he wanted to head down to the high school and take some pictures, see what was going on, if he could get that close, that was. If not, there were plenty of pictures to take around town, too, and he was in a creative mood. Gavin had his back turned, double checking the lens on his camera, and thus didn't see someone coming up behind him until said someone stumbled into him.
His first reaction was to make sure his camera didn't drop - because they were expensive and Gavin preferred not to have to buy another - before turning around to see who it was. "Oh, I'm sorry," he murmured, though it wasn't his fault, wasn't anyone's fault, really. "I didn't see anyone coming." Then he caught the man's scent, knowing this was another were. The only other were Gavin really knew was Langston, and this man wasn't a cat like the Worthington brothers were. Maybe something... canine? "Are you okay?"
