Take a chance Who: Charlene and Liam Where: the frozen yogurt shoppe! When: afternoon
Yesterday? Oh, yesterday had sucked quite a bit, at least to start with. Liam still could remember with clarity the dream that he'd had -- the dream that wasn't his -- and just how horrible he'd felt afterwards. Still, it was a good thing that his own dream was just that. Ryan had reassured him that he wasn't going to go anywhere, and even tired as fuck, he'd made sure to talk things out with Liam until he was sure he was okay. That? That had been probably the best the youngest Byrne had felt in a while. Today was a much better day if only because he could just look at the dreams with a fresh eye. Having had untroubled sleep had also helped, and Liam had slept in a lot longer than he normally did. Rolling out of bed, he'd gotten dressed in whatever looked clean, and wandered out. He had little idea as to his destination, he just felt a little less uneasy when he was moving. Which, was an odd thing to think about seeing as he usually just got high the moment he opened his eyes. No, today...today, he wanted to have all of his wits about him. That, and he didn't really want to sit in a stupor all day long.
His feet led him around town past the park that was still cordoned off, and past the various shops closer to the middle of Scarlet Oak. One particular shop caught his eye, and his stomach gave an empty sort of rumble. Who in their right mind would want frozen yogurt on a day like this? Why, the resident stoner, of course! With a smile, Liam pulled the door open and set about looking at the different flavors they had. It was self serve, and he had every intention of getting the biggest size possible. Could you get sick eating too much frozen yogurt or would you get a brain freeze first? Clearly these were things, important things that he needed the answers to. He went over and grabbed the biggest styrofoam cup size they offered and went about choosing a bunch of things that sounded like they'd go together: strawberry, chocolate, berry tart, raspberry, coffee, and even just the smallest bit of the cake batter flavor. There was barely room for much else, but Liam still heaped on a huge amount of heath pieces and sliced kiwi. With his treasure complete, he walked up to the front and set it down on the scale to pay. Almost as soon as he'd handed over the cash, he'd grabbed a spoon and dug right in. "Best. Idea. Ever," he said. Or, would have said, if his mouth wasn't completely full of frozen goodness. It sounded a lot like he said "Bmmf. Idff. Emmfrr."
