If asked, Farren couldn't possibly tell you why she thought going to the march was a good idea. She wasn't really interested in the peace rally, but she thought maybe something interesting would happen. Besides, it was better than being cooped up at home on a day off. So, she had grabbed her knapsack and headed out to the march, hoping that it would be worth her while. Needless to say, things certainly got interesting. All Farren knew beforehand was that the ground was shaking and there were loud booms coming from all over. Taking after the people around her, she ran. She knew better than to stay still when the ground felt like it was about to give way. For her part, and several of the people she had passed by, this was a good idea. They were some of the fortunate few who didn't end up falling into the river. But the chaos was only just beginning and as Farren proceeded to sprint through the devastation, she wasn't paying all that much attention to where she was going. She didn't see who it was that bumped into her -- all she knew was that she felt a harsh shove behind her and she went tumbling into a brick wall, head first. All she knew afterwards was darkness. |
