Sarah and OPEN
Sarah meandered slowly around the perimeter of Java Jack's, glancing at the rapidly increasing crowd and trying to spot someone familiar to talk to. She'd been a bit hesitant about coming to the party alone, but she figured that sooner or later she'd bump into someone she knew. She sipped her beer, hoping her costume was alright. The flier she'd seen advertising the party had featured a rather skimpily dressed witch, but she'd opted for a slightly more sensible - yet she hoped still sexy - Holyhead Harpies uniform top, one of her shorter skirts, and boots. One of her earrings was a broomstick, the other a Snitch.
She smirked slightly as she noticed Terry, dressed as a rather rakish pirate. She'd vaguely known, but forgotten, that he worked here. Given the amount of skin's he's showing, I wonder if he was behind those fliers. Her smirk deepened...she wouldn't put it past him. He seemed to be embroiled with a blond bloke Sarah didn't recognize. Her eyebrow raised - that would bear inquiring about later if she could figure out a way to do it subtly.
Glancing further around the room, she also spotted Susan Bones, and was about to head off in her direction for a chat when she realized that the other witch was wrapped around a wizard Sarah thought she recognized as a younger Gryff...Finnigan, she thought. Good for you, Susan she thought before making her way a little further along the wall.
She was about to head over to the treats table for something to nibble on, since her quest to find someone to talk to was apparently a bust. But before she could take two steps she collided with someone coming in the opposite direction. "Oof - sorry!!" she breathed, reaching out to steady the other person. "Didn't see you."
