Sarah had packed her lunch very carefully that morning - a bit of leftover Shepherd's Pie her Mum had sent back with her from her visit home that weekend, and a nice crisp apple - and had then promptly forgotten to put it in her satchel when she raced out the door to work. She'd decided to go in search of a suitable replacement during her lunch break and found herself drawn to the delightful smells coming out of Bones' Delicacies.
As she walked through the door, chime jingling merrily to signal her entrance, she was even more pleased to see a familiar face. "Susan, hello!" She took a deep breath in, enjoying the heavy cinnamon aroma of the warm air inside the bakery. She was starting to re-think her plan of buying a sensible sandwich. One could never have too many cinnamon buns - or too much frosting - in Sarah's opinion. "Ohh, those smell delicious."
Registering that she'd been asked a question, she smiled at the other witch. "I'm doing tolerably well. Yourself?"
