Absorbing that information, the social worker nodded slowly, "It must be difficult, having such a volatile power. Always having to stay in control. Those of us with more passive abilities never have to worry about accidentally destroying things or hurting people. I imagine whoever it was who's responsible is probably feeling pretty bad about it now."
"I hope so too," Alyssa agreed genuinely. Standing up, she smiled at the helpful treasurer, "You should stop by some time, Spencer. See the kids you're helping out."
