Alyssa took the offed form and pen, reading over what Spencer had written and making sure it was all correct and she didn't need to add anything, before setting pen to paper and signing the document, then handing it back to the treasurer, "Thank you for this, really. After my experience at the housing department, I thought I was going to be in for a battle."
"Yes, I heard about that. Do you know what the cause of the blaze was?" She worried at her lower lip. One of the kids who'd come to her shelter was a pyrokinetic, and when he'd come to her, she'd gotten a flash of vision of him huddled over a fire in a metal drum, in what looked like a construction site. But that what all she had. She didn't even know whether it was the past or the future, and in her vision, the building wasn't on fire. Still, accidents happened. She hoped he hadn't been involved.
She nodded to Spencer, "That would be great. They need more attention than we can give them at the moment. We try, but we're run ragged. They need people who can give them more time and care."
