Matty didn't really notice the falter. He was trying not to pay attention if he was making Danny guilty... because he may just try to do that further. And that would be rude, and not help his cause.
He let out a huff after Danny poured him a glass. "Hey! I'm legal in Canada," he said. And thankfully he was 19 now so he could argue that. Not that something like drinking age had ever bothered Matty before... "There are worse things they could put you away for."
Matty shook his head after he took a drink of wine, resisting the urge to squint up his face. Which he usually did when he wasn't tipsy enough off the wine yet... "I don't tan much either. I'm just a pale person," he said pushing his sleeve up to compare it arm to Danny. "See, you're so more tanned than me."
He smiled at Danny lightly and clinked his glass with him. "No problem. Cheers," he said taking another sip, as he moved sideways on the bed to look at Danny better, and he tucked his leg underneath him.
