Danny had been back on the Surprise for at least an entire forty-eight hours, and he was still re-adjusting. He couldn't have been happier to be back in his old room. Home. The one that didn't smell of moth balls and ancient furniture. Despite the fact that he had been back on the Surprise for over two days, boxes remained unpacked, and chores remained uncompleted. Danny had been stalling, spending time anywhere and everywhere but his room. Not that he disliked his abode. He simply preferred to catch up with those he missed first and foremost.
However now, he stood beside his bed, staring at the cardboard boxes of clothes and miscellaneous items, trying to devise a reason to put off organizing his things. Needless to say, the moment his cell phone rang, he answered, not even bothering to look at who was trying to reach him, "Hello?"
