Who Nate and OPEN What Up on deck, walking Where The Dream, top deck When Thursday morning Rating/Status PG-13 for his thoughts, most likely / in progress!
Today was Shanghai day, and Nate was a combination of things ranging from excited to nervous to anxious. He was looking forward to exploring the city, but he truthfully was concerned about how many people would be around, how close they would be and so on. He tended to avoid temptations like crowded clubs and packed rooms because it took very little for him to get going, but Shanghai was...Well, it was Shanghai. He couldn't let his problem hold him back, could he? He hadn't had a slip for a while-six months, two weeks, four days and twenty one hours in fact-so he could do this, right?
A hand ran back through his hair and he heaved a tired sigh. He could try. One day at a time. He'd call Jess, his sponsor, for the entire time he was in port if he had to. it would be worth the money.
His thoughts about his port visit had him so caught up that he didn't notice the body he was about to run into until it was too late, and he ran into their side, cursing gently as a hand went to his shoulder, "I am so sorry," he said, shaking his head as he looked to whomever it was he had been rude enough to run into.
