Fancy meeting you here ...
Who: Shelly & Luciano What: Meeting on accident Where: The camera shop on the Sunset When: Around 7:30pm Rating: You might wanna put the kiddies to bed before reading. Open? To deluci only.
Had Shelly known that the job in the camera shop would be as boring as it was, she would have picked something else to do for a living on board the cruise ship. It wasn't that she was bored, really, it was that the people on the Sunset already had their job functions all down, and so they just kind of jumped on any customer that walked into the shop. Shelly was only there temporarily, so why should she get to know any of the customers that came in? If they were regulars, the other workers in the shop wanted to get to know them, to squeeze more money out of them at a later date by being all charming and whatnot.
So, needless to say, Shelly wasn't exactly doing much of anything in the store today. She spent the entirety of her shift straightening the shelves, staying out of the other worker's way. Thank god she only had half an hour left of her shift today, she'd get off work at 8pm and she could flip them all off and wave goodbye. Only a few more weeks to put up with this, right? At least, that's what she kept telling herself. Hearing the ding dong that played when someone walked into the store, Shelly didn't even bother looking up from the book she was reading. It was her very old, very worn copy of 'A Clockwork Orange' by Anthony Burgess. Just as she assumed, one of the girls from the back came rushing out to help the new customer. 'Hello! My name is Cindy, what can I do for you today?' Shelly rolled her eyes at the peppiness of the her co-worker, and blocked her out, going back to her book.
