Having a premise that’s easy to manage as well as to play in is one of our goals xD Characters won’t always be in fictional worlds and there’ll be a heavy emphasize on downtime ‘between’ travelling in worlds. (Or visiting worlds that are less stressful.) For example, not everyone that would visit the world of the Count of Monte Cristo would be caught up in the Count’s plans. Plot or downtime might run along the lines of coping in the post-Napoleonic France or characters may choose to simply hang out and avoid the fictional world in the TD. During actual ‘downtime’ between worlds, they will be aboard the TD in a…form of limbo we are still working out xD.
Comments on the game set up were sent below, but as for recruiting people for new roles: a volunteer post will probably be set up for worlds, as well as for people who might be willing to take on some NPC characters. (Example: If we were going to Dracula, we might put up a notice that a Renfield or Quincy would be a great addition to the game.) We expect that we’ll need help with NPC’s and the post will hopefully be a good opportunity to recruit people for that.
Fictional worlds might be returned to again – though we’d like to give a chance for all characters to visit their fictional ‘homes’. We might poll the player-base as time goes on about returning to the world at a future point. It depends on how successful and popular that ‘visit’ was and what people are up to. We’ll be sticking in the 1910 range until next January, in which case we’ll bump it up a year :) Again, we’re more likely to go to fictional worlds characters as from so everyone gets a chance to play their characters in their own setting who wants to. We’re not too worried about material to cover as we have a wide range of ‘fables’ at this time.
