An option that we’re considering is setting Vectura up as a regular game – with the exception of no public advertizing. Word of mouth of players – similar to invites - would be the only advertisement. Chats aren’t that regular at the moment and could be intimidating – few people do well when on the spot. This way things will still be set up in a familiar format and we won’t have droves of new people. If people come across the communities and are interested, they’d still be free to hold and/or apply. We’ll get a chance to have new characters/players for more interactions but should be able to control the in-rate if we find we’re growing too fast.
App cycles to fit with the plot might also be employed. We might only introduce new characters during specific times to explain the arrival via plot-related events.
