Brian Jenkins 1. What would you kill for? What would you die for? I wouldn't ever want to kill another person. But if it meant that somebody else would be saved, then I'd do it. And I would die for any of the people in my immediate family: mother, father, brother, sister-in-law, and nephews. 2. What would you refuse to do under any circumstances? Why? I would never let my brother know what's happening to me. I'm the big sibling. A lot of people have seen me weak before, but he never has. And knowing that there's one person that still thinks I have all the answers, it makes me feel like maybe I could get them one day. 3. What do you dream about? Nothing good. 4. What’s your biggest fear? Losing my mind. 5. What single object you would be most hard pressed to part with? Why? My video logs. They're probably the most honest I've ever been and [...] I haven't given them to my doctor yet. I'm not sure if I ever could. 6. What is your fondest memory? As cheesy as it sounds, my wedding day. 7. What is your worst memory? The look on Gloria's face the day she left. She looked at me like [...] I was a monster. That was when I knew that there was something in me that was rotten, that might never be fixed. 8. What or who was your most significant influence? Expound. My father. He's always calm and in control, with a good word to say about everyone and everything. I always wanted to be like him. 9. What do you believe makes a successful life? Knowing yourself. 10. What makes you laugh? Unexpected things, jokes that come out of nowhere. 11. What are your religious views? I don't go to church as often as I should, but I believe there is a God. He can't fix everything for you, though - you have to take care of that yourself. 12. What is your greatest strength? I crack, crumble, and sink: but I don't break. 13. Do you have a fatal flaw? If so, what is it? As much as I want to find out what's wrong with me [...] I'm terrified of what I'll find out. Almost too terrified to actually find out. 14. Who is the most important person in your life? My father, mother, and brother. 15. If you died, who would miss you most? How do you think you'll die? My family. Maybe my patients and the other dentists I practice with. [...] Sometimes I worry that my death won't be accidental or natural.
