1. Her favorite myth is of Orpheus and Eurydice. Close favorites on mythological characters are Étaín, Parvati, and Njord.
2. She refuses to eat cereal. Her choice of food in the morning is an apple or a piece of toast.
3. There were six months in middle school where she tried to be a vegetarian – she’s happy to say she eats burgers, nearly raw now.
4. Her favorite color is burnt orange.
5. When she drove west, she stopped in the town she was born in to visit her brother’s grave. She stayed for only five minutes before hitting the road again – it was too quiet.
6. She makes a point of carrying a bottle of water on her, as her voice gives out on her too easily and she’s just not used to the heat in CA.
7. The only thing she fears is fear itself – which would be a good thing, if she didn’t go such extremes to avoid being scared (in the sense of paranoia and so on.) Most of what she does is an act, as a result.
8. First kiss was in the seventh grade, when she walked up to the cute boy she sat behind in home room and planted one on him. She got sent to the principal’s office about “indecent behavior”. Next time, she pulled the boy into a closet before trying it. At least she didn’t get in trouble, if she was rejected.
9. She knows that one day, she’s probably not going to be able to keep happy anymore. If anything that drives her to be even more enthusiastic and more herself than anything else.
10. The person who buys her a set of djembe drums will earn her unending love and devotion.
