1. Tegan's parents never really regulated what she wore as a child. She would regularly attend school in princess dresses, rainboots, and a baseball cap (or some other eclectic combo). Even though she's more "socially presentable" now, her style is still a lot quirkier than most people's.
3. Even as early as her sophomore year of highschool, she had art schools noticing her photography work and sending her information about college and scholarships. Even though they've moved twice now since their parents' deaths, she still sometimes gets info pamphlets and letters from the schools. These days, she tucks them into the trash without opening them, far enough down that her brothers won't see them.
4. Their family has never had a pet, but her brothers keep asking for a dog. She knows that (even though she tries to save as much money as possible) she'll cave in someday soon, because she feels like they're lacking, not having a dog. She's not sure if that's her own opinion, or Wendy's.
5. She's never done official yoga, but she stretches in her bedroom every morning when she gets up. It's just the simple stuff that they teach in phys ed classes, but it makes her feel more awake.
6. Her favorite time of day is right before she goes to sleep. The apartment is quiet, and she can lay in bed and pretend that she's in their old house and everything is okay.
7. She's really worried about getting the job at Ella's flower shop. She's never actually had a real job before, and she's worried that she's going to screw something up. (She still doesn't know about Nick working there too.)
8. Speaking of Nick, she feels a little awkward about how much she thinks she likes him already. She's concerned that it's just their stories making her feel that way, and she's read some bad things on the forums about people getting involved because of their stories.
9. When they lived with their uncle, the three of them shared a single room in his apartment on the opposite side of the city from Bellum. It was too small for three kids to use as a bedroom, but being that close got them through some hard nights.
10. Her favorite color is the yellow that the sun turns in the late afternoon, when everything looks alive and golden.
