I so hear ya on the bad typing -- doing Kiki drunk made my teeth hurt!! But some of that stuff can really flesh out a character -- it just works for Aaron. (Or Russell, etc.)
Daisy is effortless at work, and Jack seems fairly easy. But Kiki is a little harder -- although maybe I'm over thinking it. I want her to be more than just a party girl extraordinaire *but* I don't want her to be insta-deep, either. (Even if I wish she would!)
I also wonder how much of the character ease comes from the writing partner, or more specifically, how well you know a partner. I still feel pretty 'new' here and so I find I try to be really cautious when I write -- not out of any fear but out of a desire to be a really good writing partner, you know? I suspect as I get to know everyone here better, it might come easier -- not to say, of course, that I'll be a sloppier writing partner with familiarity -- but maybe the riskier development will be easier? I'm not sure -- I'm thinking 'out loud' and rambling, I think. (And I'm at work -- will revisit once I'm at home.)
