WHO: Carolina and Nick WHEN: February 28, night WHERE: Carolina's room WHAT: Best friend time! WARNINGS: Nope! STATUS: In progress
Carolina honestly didn't know what to think, much less do. The video that had suddenly taken over all their communications was intrusive enough without the sinister message it had broadcast. While she herself was worried about the implications of their words, and wrestling with the possibility that they were true, her main concern were her friends. Particularly the ones whose names had been mentioned specifically in relation to family deaths. Alistair was her biggest worry, though he of course had assured her that he was fine. She didn't believe him, of course, but Nick was with him for the time being and she knew better than to push him. He knew she was there if he needed something. That would have to be enough.
Once she'd made her concern known, and been assured by Nick that he would be over after he saw to Alistair, she decided to sit down with a book. Reading always calmed her, as if offered not only distraction from one's problems but escape also. She was already dressed for bed, so there was no preparations that needed to be done. Her best friend knew to just walk in whenever he was ready, and she was not going to twiddle her thumbs in angst when there was really nothing she could personally do for anyone. All she could do was wait.
