Rook just rolled his eyes and shook his head. That would never happen. Abi was the exception to every situation, he'd never hurt her, intentionally or accidentally. And the fact that Dax brought her into this just irritated him even more. He zipped up his bag and threw it over his shoulder, fully intent on going...well, he wasn't exactly sure where yet, but somewhere away from his friend, away from people who would ask him questions. Maybe he'd take a hike in the woods. It was dark already, but it wasn't like there were wild animals or anything to fear out there. And they weren't that big anyway, it wasn't like he'd get lost either.
"Dax, I appreciate the concern, but I really don't need to talk about how much I suck at relationships, okay? I just need to...not think about it." Because whatever was going on between him and Oberon, Rook really didn't think that talking or thinking about it was going to fix it. One of them was going to have to decide to give in and apologize and he didn't think it should be him. It wasn't like he was insisting he still talk to an ex or someone for Oberon to be jealous of.
