Teddy laughed wetly, scrubbing roughly at his cheeks with the heel of his hand.
"They won't see the door open?" He asked. "Or is this more like the Ghost of Christmas Past type thing?" He glanced over at her, and clocked the look of disbelief on her face.
"Or - we could apparate," he said slowly. "Because we're wizards and we can do that." Shaking his head at himself, he squeezed her hand. "Here goes." He apparated just inside the window, leaving them enough space to appear without running the risk of bumping into anyone inside.
Remus was still holding Tonks in his arms, grinning as he swayed a little from side to side, carol music filling the air. He didn't even wince as Tonks trod on his toe, just shifted his foot out of the way and laughed off her apology. Teddy slowly walked over to his parents, stopping in front of them. He stared at them greedily, taking in as much of them as he could. He didn't even notice that he was still crying.
