"I'm nice when I'm sober, too," Arran announced, assuming that Chloe would agree. Arran did work quite hard to be thoughtful, but he hoped he'd always been nice, even if he hadn't always been very good at communicating that to other people. He must have been nice enough that Chloe had wanted to keep seeing him, though, and eventually enough that she'd wanted to marry him. "Balloons!" Arran exclaimed, nodding enthusiastically - which made the world wobble even more than it had been, and Arran paused, his stomach rolling over itself. "Balloons," he said again, with just as much excitement, but less nodding. That seemed to be better. "Can we have ghost balloons? Like, ones that are a bit see-through, like how ghosts are?" Arran had no idea if those existed, but they ought to be possible with magic. "I wish there was a big shop with all the different kinds of balloons," he said, with a wistful sigh. "Why isn't there?"
Arran liked the way Chloe looked at him, and the way she helped him get her clothes off so he could run his hands over her back while she tiptoed to lick him, and he laughed. "It is much better when it's you, I'm sure Roger will understand," he asserted. Roger probably preferred Daphne licking him to Derrick, too. Not that Derrick had ever licked Roger, but maybe someone on the Ravenclaw team had, or maybe that was specifically a Slytherin thing. He followed Chloe into the shower, pressing up against her back as his hands skimmed down her legs. He licked a drop of water off her shoulder, though it was doubtful she could really tell the difference between warm wet tongue and warm wet water. "Are you scared of anything?" Arran asked. "Did you have to do bogarts at Koldovstoretz?"
