Andrew's early rehearsal with Odette hadn't been as long as he'd expected, so when he'd gone straight from there to Pretty Fixation's rehearsal, he'd arrived early. Sid, he knew, was with his own professional dancer and would probably be closer to late than on time, Ronnie had to make sure everything in the shop was ready to run without her for a few hours and Jareth would turn up whenever he turned up. It didn't surprise Andrew, therefore, that the first member of the band to arrive was Marlene. "Afternoon," he greeted, smiling at her. "Odette let me go early, so I've been sorting through Pretty Fixation letters." He pushed a stack of rolled parchments towards her on the table. "Those are yours. I think, if we were having a competition, you'd probably be winning." It made sense, since Marlene was famous for reasons other than just music, and therefore with a wider range of people. "One of them is just a list of questions. Would you rather eat chips or crisps? Would you rather be too cold or too hot? Would you rather fight a hundred cat-sized dragons or a single dragon-sized cat?" He snorted, amused at the last question.
"So which is it to be?" he asked. "Inquiring minds want to know. I suppose it would depend on the cat. If it was a normal cat, it'd probably be safer than a dragon, even if it was big, but I wouldn't want to fight a dragon-sized Jim." The idea was quite frightening, even for Andrew's Gryffindor bravery. "Jim's my patronus," he added, since it still pleased him. "I assume only since I met Jim. I don't know what it was before, though, I never managed to produce one that actually had a shape."
