Sawyer nodded. He understood the complete importance of this situation, and how vital it was for him to make it out alive. They already had people who could wave guns around, protect the weaker and lesser of the group. But they didn't have someone who could lead them like Abe could, that's what they needed and without Abe, Sawyer had no doubt in his mind that the group would slowly break apart, unless one of the girls stepped up, he also doubted anyone would follow a man who didn't shoot first and ask questions later.
"What, and leave you behind? I don't think so." Sawyer murmured as he crept behind Abe, keeping his head on a swivel, turning this way and that as they crept into the building. Unfortunately for them, what they were going to have to do was incredibly tricky. There wouldn't just be a closet full of essential supplies laying somewhere, they would be scattered about in different rooms. "We need to head to the ER, go down that hall." He gestured up to the sign, shifting the bags and keeping an eye out for anything that might help them.
Once they rounded the corner, Sawyer's heart fell down into his stomach. A little group of the zombies were stumbling about in the hall, their milky, dead eyes attracted by Abe's light. He tightened his grip around the baseball bat and swallowed hard. Nothing that they wouldn't be able to handle, hopefully, but he did hate having to deal with these things.
