Hello, everyone!

Just to let you guys know, something bad happened to Lukas. You don't really need to read the narrative, but just know that Lukas has now disappeared and will be assumed dead if he doesn't show back up. His office looks like a disaster and there is a lot of blood on the floor and on various items in the office like the desk and some walls. Forensics should be on the scene and some other characters can also investigate the scene and see if they find some kind of clue or lead. Feel free to run with it!

Also, the anti-academy and anti-Landvik post is here. Please comment and let us know if your character is a part of this movement or could be brought into it. If there is no comment, we'll assume your character is not a part of it.

Sometime within the next couple of days, there will be a plot post!

As we all know, there are people out there who want to see Landvik and the other academies gone. These guys are not only outsiders or former members but those still a part of the academies. The people in this movement might just be longing to follow someone or something, they might believe in the cause that's being spoken of, or, as the case of most still a part of the academies, they have their own agenda in mind.

For future plot purposes, we are asking players to comment with any of your characters that are a part of this anti-academy movement or might be a part of the movement eventually. If you want, you can even comment to let us know who will never ever be a part of the movement.

Please do this by the end of June 8th.

At this point in time, we will not be contacting everyone whose characters are a part of this movement. Eventually, there will be an email sent out about some big plot points. Also, we will contact people on a case by case basis. And know you are free to tell us no to certain plots. We don't want you guys to feel your characters have to do this or that.

IT'S A PLOT POST! Comment with your name, your characters and what you'd like to see for each. If you've nothing specific but would like to get some more action for your puppets, maybe you can bounce ideas off of another person. Don't be scared to branch out to players you might not interact with often!

The mass grave would've been found around 2:46 PM this afternoon deep in the woods of South Vinter. Word about this would've reached the Academy by 3:15 PM at the latest. Starting with Lukas and trickling down - it was probably known Academy-wide by 4:30 PM.

The bodies found (so far) consist of Ingrid Gyldenløve, some NPC Academy members and civilians. Body count - 53 and counting. The excavation is thought to take a few days depending on how much more is found. The bodies found are a mix of fresh and decayed. Forensics, hope you're prepared for even more sleepless nights!

Among many of the things that were discovered during Marlene's questioning, they were given coordinates for something 'special'. They were given several different coordinates and after finding nothing, it was suggested that the coordinates might have actually been a number problem that someone has (finally) figured out. So, tomorrow Landvik officials including Marlene Abendroth and Adella King, will stumble upon a mass grave. We would like four volunteers to join them - healthy characters that did not go on the rescue mission and who weren't kidnapped only, please.

The bodies in the grave would be that of Ingrid (the remaining missing activist), NPC Academy members and perhaps one of the members of the affected families in the post linked above.

Also, in regards to keeping tabs on the "targeted" and targeted families, Adella King - since she was a former Fae Queen and has tons of resources and connections to other Academies - would call on her little Faerie assassins (yeah, they're not super strong, but stealth and speed are usually an assassin's forte) / the Black Ops at Edinburgh which are actually assassins (much more durable, has some stealth but lacks in that dept) to look after their families - this, of course, does not mean they are safe, but movements were made to ensure their safety.

No need to read the narrative if you haven't the time but it might help with what I'm throwing out here. But jic:

→ There was a baddie Marlene tortured, one who said families of the supernaturals and supporters are being targeted.
→ Once her own name came up, her temper was like FUCK THIS and, uh, that was the end of that guy.
→ It is not known at this time that this is a partial truth and that not ALL families are a target. The guy was just BSing about some of the names to spread panic.

This is where the players come in. Toss me some of your characters whose families or friends outside of Landvik could be a target and I'll pick one or two until there is enough. These families can be ANYWHERE in the world. How it will be decided which target was a lie and which a truth will be random.

All comments will be screened. As a suggestion, dish names of your characters who are hurting for some plot because that would be a good way to develop someone or get them out there more. I'll keep track which families are chosen and make notes on this post itself. I'll note also when volunteering is closed as the number of families should not be excessive. Those families that are going to be legit targets? You will decide what happens, whether a close call or actually harm, even death.

Marlene will make a backdated post about it and inform those people to keep their mouths SHUT about it. I'm thinking this came up on the 26th/27th. Reason for the delay ICly? Confirmation on some of the families being targeted and probably not needing to panic people when nothing could be done ASAP. (Mods, tell me if this is OK or what I should change it to!)

Another plot post will go up soon related to a mass grave discovery. It can be presumed the delay in action was due to deliberation and verification of information. Sorry this has been so delayed but I've been utterly exhausted due to real life. And apologies if this is a little confusing, I'm working on just a few hours of solid sleep. Please ask questions if you need to so I can clean this up. Mods, feel free to poke me if anything here is wonky.

The kidnappings are happening tomorrow morning. Housing buildings H (Henrietta) and P (Petter) and the Main Building will be set on fire to cause a diversion and create panic. The fires were set by people on the inside, mainly security. They also turned off security cameras, made sure the sprinkler system wouldn't work, and turned off all alarms. Fire and police will eventually be notified by people during the chaos. So, what happened to the good guys, the security officers who weren't a part of the plan? Their bodies will be found by firemen called to the scene.

Those who live in apartments and homes around Vinter will be at Landvik when this happens. The group planned it this way to gather up as many people as they can.

It is also important to note those with supernatural smelling abilities will be hindered by the smoke.

For the sake of making things a bit easier, those who are playing characters in the rescue crew, please comment under RESCUE AND VICTIMS with your character(s) and who they are going for. If they are not going for anyone specific, still comment to remind everyone who's going to be there. There are a couple of other threads for plotting purposes.

Remember, the rescue teams will find the victims on the 23rd.

So everyone can get organized and decide what they want to happen to their kids - the ones being kidnapped, who might be involved on the rescue team towards the end of the month, etc. As always, we encourage players to try and interact with people that you might not otherwise interact with on a regular basis in addition to keeping up with existing lines.

This plot was inspired by Red State. Basically a group of anti-supernaturals decided the problem lies with Human Supernatural-Sympathists. Emil was only the first of many deaths. These people are incredibly organized, leaving behind no evidence and making it appear as if the victims have vanished into thin air. (Perhaps this is with the help of manipulative supernatural creatures that hate Humans - ahem, angels. **they would be posing as humans, obviously.)
They're killing any Supernaturals in their way - hence the burning of the Shifter Enclosure founded by Emil and his wife.

THE KIDNAPPINGS WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE 19TH, LANDVIK RESCUE CREWS WILL FIND THEM ON THE 23RD.

Basically witches, faeries and angels are the hardest to distinguish from humans and also the weakest in terms of strength. Witches often need a lot more time to cast spells that would help them in a situation like the one they're being put into, faeries need to be calm and collected in order for their "glamour" to work the way they'd like and angels can't manipulate other angels.
