It was just like being back home in their own living room at Malfoy Manor, except she had troubled herself to fix everything rather than having the elves do it. He gave her another one of his rare smiles before taking a sip of the tea. "Oh, well, I'll just have to come back then so I can visit him too, won't I?" He was indeed relieved that Lucius was not home at this moment, and he felt more comfortable making small talk for a while rather than cutting right to the chase. "I've been trying to keep busy, really. I've been looking for jobs and things to do. One of my other selves is starting his own magical repair business, and I might just ask him if he needs any assistance." Draco took another bite of his scone and put it down on the plate.
"Other than that, I've made some... friends. You know, with other people from Hogwarts and our world." He immediately regretted offering up that information, but he supposed it would offer the best segue into the subject of Hermione, so he tried to relax.
