It seemed this island was doing his mother a lot of good. The smile on her face was much happier and carefree than it had been back home. It was not weighted down with the worries over Lord Voldemort and the tasks he had ordered them to carry out at the price of death if they failed. Draco couldn't help returning her smile, and he also returned her hug and kiss. "You look nice as well. It's so good to see you." He looked around nervously for any sign of his father being home but didn't see any. Draco walked over the threshold and paused just inside it. She told him this was his home too and he felt another tinge of guilt for not telling her the entire truth about why he wasn't living there. But that was what he was there to do - and he intended to go through with it.
"I'm a little hungry, yeah," he replied after thinking about it. He wondered if she had servants here like back at home but didn't ask. Instead he focused on the decorations that he could see inside the house, taking everything in. "This is rather a nice setup. Much better than the apartments."
