Adrian had been in a bit of a dazed shock. It was very surreal to be in this place, surrounded by Roses (some of which hadn't even broken his heart yet). He had been dealing with his misery quite well, thank you. The bottle of gin would certainly agree.
But Sydney. My, she intrigued him. For a regular human girl, and an Alchemist of all things, she was quite breathtaking. And she was amusing, what with her working for and with vampires, yet hating them. He thought Alchemists had some serious double-standard issues.
He had only drank a little, and smoked a little less this morning. He didn't want to be completely incoherent when meeting with the lovely lady. He dressed in black slacks and a white button-down shirt, his shoes polished as befitting his rank. Or so his father would say. His father wouldn't think his unruly hair was befitting of the bed, but that old ass wasn't here. Thankfully.
He walked into the shop, shoving his hands into his pockets as he gazed around for her. Spotting her, he smiled his large, dazzling smile. He walked over and slid into the seat opposite her. "Well, hello there, little human," he said with a wink.
