Brooke gave a cheeky smile, her face not far enough away from his for him to see it. "You'll learn that I always win arguments," she murmured, running her fingers through the dark, soft hair at the nape of his neck. But she didn't want to argue with him. She just wanted him to kiss her again; feel his arms around her and feel that wonderful closeness they'd had in the quiet moments when she was still his. She missed him, so much, which was really stupid. But she couldn't help it.
She closed the gap between them again, catching his lips with hers. She let her tongue brush his lip, seeking entrance to his mouth. She wanted to feel one with him again. She needed that intimacy.
