Contessa had heard that some of her siblings were from another time, but no one had really taken the time to explain to her what had happened. To an Original who had already lived as long as she had, the year 2011 didn't seem unlikely, however it did seem very far off. According to Elijah, a lot had happened between 1492 and 2011 and finally, he was coming to explain what had actually happened.
She thought back to the night she had come from. She had seen the doppelganger go into the party with a man. She was unmistakable, she looked so much like Charlotte. Exactly like Charlotte. She had also seen Elijah enter and finally, late as always, Klaus. That night hadn't been the full moon, so she knew that the doppelganger--someone had told her the name was Katerina--would be safe for the time being. But she had fully intended to stop the sacrifice before it happened.
Instead, she turned up here. With a mocking sister telling her to "get with the times" and her favorite sister confused by all of Tessa's lost time. And finally, Elijah turned up as well.
When he told her he would come over, Contessa went to sit in the living room of her apartment to wait for him. Of course this conversation couldn't happen in that room. There were things that couldn't be discussed where roommates could walk in. She figured that she could take her brother to her room for the conversation. But for now, she awaited his arrival.
When he knocked on the door, she stood immediately to answer it, wearing her hair in it's typical ringlets and some of the late 1400s style nobility clothing that had been provided for her. Seeing Elijah on the other side surprised her. He was in a suit, probably fro the 2000s, as he had said he was from. His hair was shorter than she recalled as well. But his face was unmistakable. It was the only thing that kept him from looking like a complete stranger. "Lijah," she replied as he hugged her. She hugged him back.
She broke the hug in time to see one of her roommates coming from her room. Perfect timing. "Rory was it?" she asked, getting the young woman's attention. "Would you mind inviting my dear brother in?" She wasn't going to compel the girl unless necessary. She could be a bitch to humans, but she felt that maintaining a trusting relationship with her roommates would be to the best benefit.
Rory walked over, confused by the request. "You may come in," she said keeping enough distance for him to enter, and only left the apartment once he was inside.
((I forgot that he'd have to be invited in. Luckily I have two girls in that apartment lol.))
