Katherine snuggled against him on the couch, lifting her legs to drape across his knees. She let him take her hand in his, feeling the warmth eminating from his skin into her. She gently ran her thumb back and forth over his fingers, her eyes moving restlessly over his face. "And do you regret spending time with me in the first place?" she asked, trying to keep her voice sweet although she could feel the bitterness bubbling up inside. She hadn't minded knowing he was seeing another Katherine as well, but she didn't like it that he seemed fixated on her now. She loved him. She didn't love Stefan and didn't need time to try and love only Damon. For her, loving Damon - thinking about him in every waking moment - had become natural. It annoyed her that even here, that didn't seem to be enough. But she would get her way in the end, because she was Katherine Pierce and that was what she did.
