Katherine frowned, wrapping her arms around him. She honestly hadn't thought losing that other Katherine would effect him like this. For the first time in a very long time, she wondered whether she was even good enough at all. Katherine reached up, gently stroking his hair as she stared off into the blank wall of the corridor opposite. "You're not a disappointment," she said softly. He was as sweet and caring as ever, everything she loved about him. She turned her head, burying her face in his his thick, dark curls. "I love you," she murmured softly, maybe too softly for him to hear.
