That was what Katherine had wanted to hear. However, she didn't like the look of sadness that took over his face when he looked down at her. Gently, she tugged on his arm when he looked forward again, pulling him to a stop and around to face her. Slowly, she reached up and ran the palm of her hand over his smooth, warm, human cheek. "Then it will remind me of how glad I am you're here," she told him, wide brown eyes looking up at him, moving over his face. There were subtle little differences about him that the years had blurred and faded in her mind. She smiled, running her hand through his curly dark hair. She had missed that hair, although she liked it when he had it shorter and a little messy. "Now, no being sad, alright?" she told him, lifting her eyebrows. "I won't allow it, because then you'll make me sad and I don't want to be sad in such a wonderful place."
