Brooke took a sharp little intake of breath. That hurt even more than him telling her it was over. Until this moment she'd been under the impression that it was very much going somewhere. He'd said he wanted to be with her. And she'd been giving him almost her undivided attention. She'd turned down spending time with Haley and Jamie to be with him and he had the gall to say that to her. "Fun?" she breathed, her hands clenched into fists. The tears on her cheeks had turned to tears of anger as she looked across the room at him. "That's what this was? Fun?" She wanted to storm over and slap him harder than he'd ever been slapped before, but he just wasn't worth it. He was another slimey, lying, no-good man, just like the string of them she'd had in her life. "Yeah, well I hope you have a really fun life, Damon," she spat before turning and walking towards the door, wishing so badly she'd worn shoes that were easier to storm in. She glanced at him again, somewhere between furious and and hurt. "Bastard," she growled before walking out, slamming the door behind her on the way.
