"Actually, it was a ploy on Elena's part to get you out of the house and away from him. We all know you're not alright. You don't have to pretend otherwise," Damon said softly. "She told him that she was meeting you, but in reality, it's just me. Sorry, if that's disappointing," Damon said with a small smile. He was in awe of her shy nature, it was so endearing.
"Bar tender?" He signaled to the man, and smiled calmly. He'd get her whatever she wanted and he wouldn't even compel the man to get his way. "My friend here would like a drink. I'm afraid she forgot her ID, but I can assure you sir, she's 21."
He smiled at her, "order whatever you like. It's on me."
