Stefan shook his head, stroking Elena's hair down as he held her, making soft, soothing sounds. "You're safe now," he murmured. He didn't know how, but she was out of there and he would die before he let anyone else hurt her.
Stefan looked up as he heard his Elena coming. He had no idea how to act around the both of them. He supposed he'd had chosen his Elena to be his but he couldn't stop caring for this other one, who had been through so much. He wondered if that was wrong of him, but right now he didn't have time to care. He had to keep both of them safe. Slowly, he let go of Elena and looked down at her as the other one approached and put her hand on his shoulder. He nodded absently, still looking Elena over to make sure she was really alright. He didn't know half of the things the other him had done, and he didn't really want to, but he had to make sure she was safe and warm and happy now. "Just, name what you want and we'll get it for you," he said, nodding to his Elena and himself.
