Draco moved his arm so that it was about her shoulders and Hermione looked downward, subduing a smile at action. She looked over at him, a full smile developing. "You seemed to be enjoying yourself, so I suppose that's all that matters on your birthday," she said. She didn't say much about Pansy taking good care of him, because she didn't really want to think too much about a girl who fancied Draco tending to him when he didn't remember anything from that night.
She shook her head, "It wasn't your fault. I'm no good with parties anyway. I've never even drank hard liquor or really... partied in general." Hermione had always been too straight-laced for that sort of thing. She lifted one shoulder in a shrug, "I've been fine. Not much has happened," she said simply. "How about you?"
