Draco looked down at their entwined hands again and gave hers a small squeeze before meeting her eyes once more. "Yes. I named him 'Spook,' actually," he replied with another chuckle. "Normally he is scared of everyone else, but it's rather unsettling to wake in the middle of the night and find him sitting on my chest and staring at me. That's how the name came to me." He was glad of the cheerful topic. Draco always hated to see anyone cry. He had seen his mother cry several times and never was able to remain in the same room with her as she did. "Pansy's all right. We're getting on better than before. You know, as friends," he amended quickly so that Hermione wouldn't get the wrong idea.
