He leaned in, kissing her and the simple gesture was one that Hermione found shockingly comforting. She studied Draco silently for a moment. Harry didn't know him like this. She knew him as a completely different person than her friend did. Hermione offered a soft smile, the first genuine one. "He'll come around," she said quietly. "Its complicated for a lot of reasons."
She watched Draco for a moment, weighing her decision before finally giving in and shifting so that she could throw her arms around his neck in an impromptu hug. After all, he would have to get used to it sometime. Not wanting to make him too uincomfortable though, Hermione pulled back to look him in the eye, arms still around his neck. "You don't have to prove anything," she said before letting him go a bit reluctantly.
