Draco closed the door behind her and shrugged a little. "No problem," he said. "I'm uh, actually I'm glad to see you," he added, hoping that would be enough to let her know he truly wasn't annoyed with her. He nodded and disappeared into the kitchen for a few seconds, then returned with a cup of warm tea and set it on the coffee table for her.
The revelation that she had just come from Harry's wasn't something he had been expecting. So, perhaps this was a bad news visit and that was why she looked so upset. His brow furrowed in concern as he saw the tears. "Oh." Draco fumbled for something else to say. "Um, how did it go? Did you talk about...?" He left his question unfinished, knowing she would realize what he was asking.
Draco smiled back at her with less effort. "I'm happy to see you too." He still felt self-conscious of his pajama pants. "Why don't I go change? I shouldn't be loping about in my pajamas all day anyway," he half-joked to keep her from feeling bad about dropping in unexpectedly. "Please, make yourself comfortable." Draco gestured toward the sofa.
